Your RV is technically a domicile in addition to being a vehicle, so you actually have a greater degree of legal protections with regards to firearm possession that you would not be afforded in an ordinary vehicle. Same goes for searches based on probable cause. RV’s are a lot harder to search without a warrant and without consent than a car, because an RV is considered a home.

Have a decent, hidden safe, and do as you please. No one should know it’s there except for you.

A license to carry a firearm is normally specific to the state you live in, not every state you visit.

It depends on the laws of where you are traveling. It's your responsibility to look those up wherever you are plannonh to go with a gun.

Am I allowed to have a handgun while traveling? I have a safe on my camper, but mine is lock but in a locker so is it okay?
