You are consuming more than you are burning.

You need to track calories (and measure food) at very least.

I track protein and calories, but tracking all macros was too much for me.

Why are you shocked?

Read The Magic Pill.

I don't know how you didn't know that this was going to happen.

I would try tracking your calories for a week to gain an idea of how much you are eating so you can figure out what calorie deficit you need to be in to lose weight. It's great that you make your own meals and avoid "bad" foods. Before prescribing a semaglutide, had your doctor recommended any lifestyle changes?

I also think once you add in an exercise regimen you'll be able to stabilize your weight and then hopefully begin to lose weight.

No, because I had to be in bed so much (I wah thankfully...). Just doing home chores was difficult. I did not exercise at all.

So unfortunately you lost both muscle and fat in your weight loss. I would try and strength train and get some of that muscle back.

My doctor says many patients get monthly maintenance shots

Try intermittent fasting - start with an 8-hour/16 fasting eating window and try to get it down to 5-hour eating window. That's how I maintain post-semaglutide. I eat from 11-4.

I mean, yeah. That's not a surprise. The effects of the drug only last as long as you take it. After you're off it, your body is going to upregulate hunger to get back to the weight it was before.

My BMI is just under 25. I would have liked to stay on to lose more. The fatigue was actually debilitating, physically and mentally. Now I feel mentally fantastic, not remotely tired...But I am regaining. I was never a bad/big eater and I cook all my food from scratch. I am just eating normally now, which is too low to maintain weight loss or even stay at my weight. It is a HUGE bummer.

Sorry. That's why I don't take it. I don't want to be on it forever.

I was on it for 6 months or so and lost 25lbs. Stopped because I was barely able to keep my eyes open during the day. I stopped about a month ago and I am regaining weight FAST. I am not eating poorly at all, in fact I am eating so much better, but I am eating more, because I was barely eating on sema due to fatigue. I am at a loss as to what to do.
