Shenandoah - landscapes in the UK tend to be pretty manicured.

The Museum of American History, National Museum of the American Indian, and the Air and Space Museum are the sorts of things that will be new to them. The UK has a lot of art and natural history museums.

Museums, monuments, Potomac River going west, maybe Harper's Ferry, though that's a bit out of the way.

We have a couple of middle and high schoolers visiting us this fall. Any suggestions of things to do that kids this age would love? Thank you!
