It's a double edged sword our civilization today...on one hand, we have it WAY easier than generations prior in that we have indoor plumbing, we don't spend all our time on survival of the fittest and in so many ways, we have leisure activities to really enjoy life beyond having to worry about what to eat and how to defend ourselves.
On the other hand, so few of us at least in US really have down time (if kids esp). We work all the time and usually behind a desk so we're not really moving which prob sucks for our bodies in general. I feel like we all have so many choices which prob does not help us in the long run. Just a lot of people and a lot more problems all around. I know this is not a bad thing but in some respects, without a "tribe" and "community" life is sometimes harder. Human beings are just hard I guess
I wonder if we'll ever actually evolve into truly intelligent life.
