These are all pretty tame.

Overland travel through Cameroon and CAR to see the gorillas in Dzanga Sangha. Incredible but would not recommend now.

Queenstown New Zealand is an outdoor sports junkies paradise assuming you are into it. Our winter is their summer.

Trekking to the gorillas in Rwanda. It’s safer than in other countries. It’s my favorite travel experience

Okavango Delta.

Hiking tiger leaping gorge in China. Bonus is that it is really cheap to do (assuming you can get yourself to China cheaply)

Seeing brown bears at Lake Clark or Katmai National Parks

Komodo Dragons on Komodo

Hiking to remote Mayan ruins in Mexico. The less popular ones in Oaxaca province are almost deserted - it’s amazing to be there just you and a guide.

I took a River ferry in Borneo. The River was full of log jams from clear cutting, and was red with mud. 2010. Not recommended. The Orangutan sanctuary near Kuching was awesome though.

Other Borneo highlights were hiking from Bario to a remote village with no road access, and scuba diving in Sipidan.

Snorkel or dive in Raja Ampat. Combine with stopover in Bali.

I highly recommend acetenago. Make sure to acclimate in lake Atitlan, and skip the bonus fuego hike.

Depends on how good of physical shape you are in.
Trango towers or K2 base camp is mind blowing.
