Nothing to do with racism, IMO--this ad just sucks and I hope no one seeing it thinks that using AI this way is a good idea.
+1. I remember being a 7 year old writing a fan letter to my favorite football player, working hard to express my thoughts. And I've always taught my kids the importance of handwriting thank you notes for gifts received, or to express gratitude for something someone's done for them.
It's disappointing to see this commercial broadcast to families with the message of let AI do your kid's thinking for them.
