Recently sold a condo; touched up paint, replaced old white fridge with cute 50s looking one, replaced old light fixtures and old medicine cabinet and toilet seat, and cleaned, and cleaned. It already had non busy granite.
Staged with new shower curtains, towels, curtains, some art.
It sold first day with multiple offers over asking and 15% over mirror image unit 3 weeks prior.

I would replace the counter top with quartz but choose an inexpensive one. I might reface the cabinets. Don’t buy new ones unless absolutely necessary. Primary consideration for both of these should be cost not style.

Agreed. No telling how your decor preferences would read.

We own a condo and our tenants are moving out this week. For various reasons, we no longer want to rent our unit out (we lived there previously).

Since it's almost August, should we just put the unit as-is right now on the market? Or should we do updates, eg replace old cabinets, replace laminate with quartz etc... but not get the unit on the market until the end in August?
