Daylilies. And for smell, the best is gardenia.

For cut flowers in my house, it’s always tulips.

Oh how I would love to love anemones. I grow them, but the deer eat them before I ever see a bloom.
I love daffodils, in large part because the deer leave them alone. Also peonies. And lilacs. I’d say lilacs are my all time favorites. But I also love the variety that the seasons bring. Enjoying my black eyed Susans and daisies right now. And love watching the hydrangeas change over time.
One flower I really don’t enjoy: crepe Myrtle.

Sunflowers! DD and I plant a big garden of them every year.

Basically everything in my mother’s garden. It appears so random and thrown together (and it mostly is) but every flower makes every other flower look good. I guess she just has excellent natural taste

Gosh that is hard.

I also love anemone in the way that I love camelia, and lisianthus has a special place in my heart right next to hydrangea and lavender roses. I remember the first time I smelled a Korean spice viburnum, and I smile every time I brush past abelia in bloom. I appreciate wild violets and spring ephemerals ....

No I just can't answer this. I'd need a book, and then the word favorite will never fit.

Anemones are pretty great. But I love the daylily best. Wild tiger lilies are my favorite, but I love them all.

So hard to pick, but I am loving anemones right now.

I used to be obsessed with tulips and peonies, but I am really appreciating flowers that bloom for longer.
