It's not ideally to transfer as a junior, but it's better than doing it as a senior.

If your child wants to tryout for a fall sport, tryouts are early August and registration is open now. You have to have a physical on file to try out.

Yes. This is at all high schools, and it will be the morning of Thursday, Aug. 22nd. The regular bus routes will run on a half day schedule.

Honestly, most high schools are so big that kids are accustomed to meeting new classmates every year. Does he have an activity where he could make friends fall quarter? A fall sport or debate or drama club or something?

We are going to be moving into MontCo from another state in the coming months and I’m wondering if the transition for our son (rising 11th grader) is going to be brutal socially. Has anyone else switched schools this late?
