I think that most child care centers will accept the religious exemption for no vaccination - usually they just need to have the forms required by licensing and if you have the religious exemption form it should be fine. Also, usually you would be told whether there is a spot for your child before you submit the health forms and other state required paperwork. Once they tell you there is a spot if would be difficult for them to deny you the spot because you claim the exemption. I don't think it should matter if they are non-profit or for profit.

Yes. And I know if a school accepts state funds then they must accept a vaccine exempt child but I’m not sure about a non profit that accepts state grant money.

I don't think a non-profit day care that accepts state grant money can take unvaccinated kids. Most states require full vaccination, not for the unvaccinated kids, but for what diseases those kids could bring in to the school. (I read about this a few years back, maybe even here.)

I would think your religious institution that is getting you the exemption would know the answer.

Highly unlikely for a whole host of reasons but the only way to know for certain for this specific school is to ask them up front.

How do I know if a non profit day care will accept my partially vaccinated son? I have the religious exemption paper signed and notarized. I’m just wondering if there is a way to know beforehand if he’ll be accepted.

It’s a non profit day care but does accept state grant money.
