Here is information about working after retirement from VRS: https://www.varetire.org/retiree-milestones/working-after-retirement/

You must take a 30 day break (summer doesn’t count) between jobs and if it is a full time teaching position you do not earn additional service credit towards your retirement.

And you can't come back for some period of time, at least 90 days I think (so, you can't leave June 30 and start at the beginning of the next year).

I think yes, but you can't get your pension while you are working full time. I think you can work part time up to 60% and still get your pension. There's a limit.

I believe so. Check with VRS, I think they govern some of the rules.

A Google Search isn't showing me much information. I am not a teacher in Arlington County but was wondering if teachers in APSVA had the option to retire at their normal retirement age, - full retirement - and then be rehired for their full salary? Some other school districts in the area (like PGCPS and maybe DC) do have this option so I was wondering about Arlington. Anyone know?
