Honestly, I don’t know that I’d stay at home, I would go back to the hospital and insist on being admitted. Get a steroid shot for baby’s lungs, have them monitor you and if MFM when they can see you doesn’t like what they see, they can order an immediate c section. If you’re nearly 34 weeks, there’s no reason for you to stay pregnant under these circumstances. Be your own advocate. Sending you courage.

They wouldn't let you go home unless they felt very confident the situation stabilized.

We were doing fetal monitoring in the hospital. 24 hours and then twice a day for 20 min.
They have me scheduled for bpp tomorrow and a bpp/growth scan on Friday with our outpatient obgyn office (affiliated with the hospital we went to)
The crazy thing is smear had a bpp and baby passed 8/8 4 days before the bleeding episode. And at that scan they said everything looked perfect. Absolutely no trauma to the abdomen, no sex, nothing to cause bleeding happened between the bpp and bleeding.
I'm just a mess right now. And none of it makes sense.
Passing means the placenta is still working. It's good they are monitoring you closely

Anonymous wrote:I would also be nervous. I started to abrupt during hospital induced labor and had a c section. I was very glad nothing went wrong. Is your doctor thinking of delivering at 36 weeks now?
Anonymous wrote:No, but I am very sorry you are experiencing this and I would feel the same. Are you working? Hoping you have something to distract a bit from this horrible situation.
I had a major subchorionic bleed at week six with brown bleeding daily and am waiting for it to subside. I will have had 9 days between my last scan and my next and its nerve racking and I didn't go 32 weeks with this one who could live outside the womb.
Prayers are with you and your little one!!
