OP said they did all these things. They gave her the steroid shot. They admitted her. They monitored her around the clock and did multiple scans. She mentions having seen MFM as well. Don't further traumatize her. She did everything you just told her she needs to " do asap" and they told her she was safe to be at home at the moment.

That being said, OP, I'd call your OB in the morning for an appointment to discuss everything further, including your anxiety, and see what the best plan for you is. If you aren't working and don't have other kids at home, can you stay in an airbnb close to your hospital for a few weeks? No one is going to advocate for you to have a c section at 33 weeks unless the baby is in distress, he/she is not done cooking yet and every day in utero gives him/her a greater advantage for full health.

I had a subchorionic hematoma with persistent bleeding and passing of a major clot from 5-26 weeks. I spent 3 months on bed rest. The anxiety is really crippling.

A few things that helped me - I found a group on Reddit that specifically dealt with subchorionic hematomas. It was very helpful. Maybe there is one for those experiencing partial abruptions.

I did not hesitate to go to the ER if I felt off. We had weekly monitoring but there were a couple times I went to the ER for a check. Do not feel guilty going in.

I found a midwife counselor that works with birth trauma. She was majorly helpful and a huge source of comfort.

Even though the doctors did not suggest mandatory bed rest. They suggested the lesser version with minimal stairs etc… I essentially put myself on bed rest.

I'm also trying to manage anxiety and fears. We got discharged Friday afternoon and I feel ridiculous and silly already going back to the er if needed but I know I would. I'm monitoring discharge and kick counts, and general aches but it's so hard to know what's normal pregnancy aches and and what is concerning.

We also live 40-60 min away from our hospital and ob office actually. We were told if I was actively bleeding to go to our nearest ER 10-15 min away.

The stress of it all is crippling. Everything you read is awful online but they kept telling us some people bleed once and go on to almost term with healthy pregnancies. I'm just so confused and trying to trust they wouldn't have discharged us if they didn't think we were stable.

I did tell them about the cramps and tightness I felt all week .they weren't too concerned..

Thanks. Yes. I'm going to call in the am and see if we can talk to someone from mfm about a C-section asap. Or more frequent monitoring. After this coming week the appts go back to 1x/week.

We went from thinking we lost her to her being fine and signing all the consents and giving her the steroid shots to okay you can go home in a few days and I still can't process this past week.

This is also one of two euploid embryos we have after doing IVF and everything just feels so scary and risky and if she CAN be okay on this side of things I'd rather that. Or admit me until delivery because I can't function but I know they won't do that.

Maybe advocate for c-section at next scan due to your anxiety, if you already haven't. This is so stressful, I am so sorry!!

Thanks .I hope so. They did say with no more bleeding or pain (although this one is hard to figure out) we can assume she's getting what she needs.

But the 8/8 bpp was 4 days before the bleeding/clot episode. And then she had one the day after and that also got 8/8. It just doesn't make any sense. There was so much blood and the clot was as big as my palm.

Hopefully I can ask to check in with one of the mfms tomorrow just to be safe.

They want to try to get us to 36/37 weeks. I'm so scared. We did the steroid shots this week in anticipation for an early delivery but then the baby was stable and I stopped bleeding.

But now I that we are close to 34 I just want a section and to get her to the NICU. Every second is filled with anxiety and a heavy feeling. They couldn't see the abruption on ultrasound so they are thinking its small but so many limitations who knows.

No, I'm not working. They have me on early leave and while they don't want full bed rest they don't want daily commuting, stairs, daily work stress. Limited lifting and other things. the week we spent in the hospital was basically bed rest. I feel like jello now. Thankfully when we got in the bleeding stopped early in even though I was contracting but the next day contractions stopped and all the discharge has been brown/old which they wanted.

I'm so sorry you're dealing with a sc bleed. That's still so scary.

Pregnancies are just so hard and stressful and now I'm kicking myself for all the dumb worries I had a week ago.

I had a major subchorionic bleed at week six with brown bleeding daily and am waiting for it to subside. I will have had 9 days between my last scan and my next and its nerve racking and I didn't go 32 weeks with this one who could live outside the womb.

I started bleeding at 32 weeks and passed a large clot we rushed to the hospital and ended staying for a few days under observation. The bleeding stopped and they felt okay sending me home on modified bed rest but now I'm home and a nervous wreck.

Has anyone had a partial abruption? And only bled once? I know we are at risk for more bleeding and a full abruption now. And it's terrifying. I'll be 34 weeks on Wednesday and just want this baby to come out and thrive in the NICU.

I had no cramping or symptoms besides fatigue the day of the bleed which makes it even scarier. And now I feel like any slight pain or tension in my abdomen I'm seeing through panic. Where before the bleeding I would have just said oh that's just being pregnant but now the top of my abdomen will get tight periodically or I'll feel cramping and feel panicked but at the hospital they said it was all normal. Unless my entire abdomen is rigid and sharp shooting pain.

I don't want to go to the er everyday but I feel like I'm so scared of something horrible happening. We have two outpatient visits for scans this week but it just doesn't feel like enough. I wish they would have kept me until delivery even though baby was table the whole time.

Anyone dealt with abruptions before?
