I used iMovie on our home Mac to create a video. There are Youtube instructional videos on how to make soccer highlight videos. I find making the videos pretty tedious and wouldn't call it something easy to do.

No No No. Do not do this in a highlight reel. If your highlight reel catches the eye of a coach and you start talking, they may ask for a full game film and come watch you play. They'll certainly be looking for that sort of thing but do not include mistakes in your highlight reel.


No one said to put in highlight reel. They said don’t forget coaches will want to see. Calm down.

KineMaster app on iPhone or iPad. Mix of Veo and sideline clips. Always try to put the best clips up front. Music isn’t necessary at all.

Wondershare Filmora is pretty user friendly. Allows tons of options.

YouTube will have many examples. Google too. In general start with the best stuff and don’t let it go more than a few minutes
