See now I’m starting to doubt myself, which I hate. They’re only 3 women, along with him and another guy on the boat. There’s 1 girl just a bikini and the other two are in shorts and a bikini top. He does a 360 camera shot and you can’t see the women’s faces because they’re looking out at the water. He’s smiling and at the end says, “what’s up *insert the city he’s in*. Maybe it’s not deliberate if only one woman was completely in a bikini?

Thank you! I think that’s what turned me off and made me think he wasn’t serious. I wish I could show you all the video - it’s just odd IMO to post anything with women that could be misinterpreted when you’re trying to get back together with someone. Plus, who takes a selfie video of themselves on a boat on the Potomac? It’s not like he’s in Santorini with beautiful scenery.

I think because he was smirking in the video and I could tell he was purposely trying to show them off.

My ex and I didn’t end on the greatest of terms, so I was surprised when he contacted me a few days ago. We were together for years and wanted to get married but we both had some growing up to do. So my ex said he wanted to reconcile but could tell I was apprehensive. He asked me when I’d be back (I’m traveling right now), I told him when, and agreed to see each other and he’d buy tickets for a concert I’ve been wanting to go to.

Today, he posted himself on a boat taking a selfie video with a bunch of women in bikinis in the background. I know he’s single and can do what he wants. However, I would think someone who is serious about working on reconciling wouldn’t do that, right? I know this may come off as insecure and me looking too much into things but I can’t help think about the optics of it.

Am I overthinking this or is my gut right?
