I've had this one and off for a few years now. At first, I would go and get tested every time, but it was always negative. Eventually, I realized that it was happening whenever I went bike riding. It still happens every once in a while, usually if I'm sitting for an extended period of time, but since I stopped biking it's been pretty rare. It goes away on its own.

Just wanted to mention that this could also be interstitial cystitis. It feels similar to a UTI. In my case, certain foods can trigger it, especially very acidic foods. I take an antacid called Prelief if I want to have coffee or alcohol or another trigger food, and it works pretty well.

If your UTI tests come back negative for bacteria it might be worth seeing a urogynecologist.

My revaree arrived. Its OTC. I asked the nurse and she said not to use at same time as estrogen cream, but on the off days. She didn't seem bothered by it, except to warn me about anything not FDA approved, that they can't promote it. So far seems nice. Pricey, but made in USA so I chose it over other brands. Also, don't use every day.

Certain foods/drinks can irritate the bladder and feel like a mild infection. If you test negative, it might be worth researching bladder irritants. My doctor gave me a list amid my symptoms disappeared when I stoped using lemon/citrus, coffee, tea and started using alkaline water (Essentia). Peaches are also supposed to be a trigger for some people. Sorry, don’t remember the rest of list, but you should be able to search. Hope you find a solution.

If it's still around Monday go leave a sample at the doctor.
Postmenopausal. UTIs sometimes don't feel like UTIs for me now.
Started topical estrogen last month.

I've had urinary tract infections before, and this is milder. But it's still annoying. I'm drinking cranberry juice and using my topical estrogen as instructed by my doctor. I'm not sexually active. Any ideas on how to address non-medically?
