I think it would be nice to have Gatorade and maybe pizza sometimes.

We typically provide water and snacks (fruit, granola bars, etc.). We order sandwiches and/or pizza on Fridays.

With all the allergies people have these days, giving food makes no sense.

I usually provide water and soft drinks. On the last major day of our renovation before we moved back in, I had pizza delivered for everyone.

No. We recently had a month-long project and the boss would bring lunch for the workers every day.

Depends on how long they are there for. A day or two? Yes. Weeks? Just a few times.

I also give Instacart delivery drivers sodas and snacks if I can catch them.

I use to do this but have found that I never get better service. If anything, my kindess is now my weakness. I always get taken advantage of when I go above and beyond. Now, I offer drinks and that’s it.

I would guess it's not the norm, but not so unusual that they think it's weird.

Whenever we've had work done, people have brought their lunches with them.

No, I barely have it together enough to feed the people who live here, including myself when WFH.

I didn't when we had renovation done. I thought about bringing in donuts once or twice, but got over it. I think it's a nice gesture, but everyday is a little over the top. But, hey, I didn't know that people took baked goods in for the nurses when they were giving birth, so what do I know.

I think what you are doing is nice but the standard is for them to provide their own food.

We are having some minor renovations done and a crew of three has been working in our home for a few days. Each day I’ve brought lunch in for them: sandwiches, pizza, etc. I also stocked the fridge with sodas for them. My friend thinks this is exceptionally weird. Is it? The crew seems appreciative, but not weirded out or even surprised.
