HP Elite has Friday Night Lights which is basically pick up. Maybe contact them and see if there is still space.

I would go out the park and make some new friends. Kids play pick up all the time in our area and welcome new players.

Probably the best thing you can do is just get your kid to invite his teammates and have the teammates invite a few friends and create your own.
