There were some in d3 last year. There are some in d2 this year.

Lower divisions. We always had some in the double digit divisions.

Ours went out Tuesday night. Bid in meeting tonight. We submit everything swimmer not in 2 events as an alternative. It’s ridiculous.

Those with firm slots know. Bid-in meeting is tonight.

Our coaches start by asking the kids at the top of the ladder which events they want to do and work down the list from there until all the available slots in each age group are filled. The process usually takes a couple of days to sort out. Some kids know right away Monday morning, others have to wait and see which spots are left by the time the coaches get to them. Others remain in limbo hoping for a bid-in as an 11th or even a 12th entry in their age group. Or a 9th or a 10th entry from the 8&u age group, including when they fill an extra slot in 10&u IM.

Of course, we've known via word of mouth since Monday and our list came out midday yesterday.

Same, as far as the firm entries.

Yes, but bid-ins to fill other teams' empty lanes are still possible. The meet sheet with bid-ins usually comes out Wednesday evening.

If steady rain closes pools (because lifeguards can't see the bottom) is there an precedent of pushing divisionals to Sunday?

Heavy rain is only a break until it's lightened up enough to see. Thunder is 30 minutes each rumble. Visible lightening is an hour. But no, they won't just set a different start time because of possible weather.

Yes. Of course. It’s not published because the meeting is tonight, but the coaches have told the kids what they will be swimming for our team.

Ours has, but some divisions might not have their seeding meetings until tomorrow night, so they may still be tinkering with the data. With many of us having had a B meet this past Monday, it’s a just-in-time exercise to do the entries.
