Is anyone familiar with the process of retaining a totalled car with major cosmetic damage in Maryland? If it is reported by the insurance company as totalled (cost to repair is more than 75% of value), do we have to do a full Maryland safety inspection (like the kind you do when buying a car or bringing one in from out of state) to be able to drive it again, and if so, do we have any chance of passing it with major dents and scrapes on it? Thanks for any insight!
