ADHD meds work for this. often its the hyperactive/ impulse / inattentive part that makes one over eat and pine for sugars 24/7. Try a stimulant. especially if you have other adhd symptoms (exec functioning issues, trouble sleeping, anxiety, forget things, lose things, etc. )
