I see you have the same experience. I just posted the same link. We bought ours when we moved to the area, over 20 years ago and then bought more when the kids were born. They all are still going strong.

Mine all use tall white hampers made of hard plastic (similar to a laundry basket). Cheap, from Target or similar. No complaints.
