Chalking of driveways and signs for kids on our team. And there is a team lunch after (we do that for all A meets but for divisional they usually reserve part of a restaurant)

Not for divisionals, but for All Stars we make yard signs and place them in their yards while they are at practice.

Nvsl team that does this. Kids love it and it’s fun bonding for the coaches

Posters (very common)
TPing
Chalking
Dinner
Caps (very common)
Shaving party/pep rally

The older kids chalk up the driveways of the divisional swimmers overnight so they wake yo to that. It’s really sweet. But no nothing else.

We have a huge team and between my two swimmers only one of them has gone to divisionals once. It’s a huge honor and that would be enough for them, they wouldn’t need recognition beyond that. Make it about the swimming and not the “stuff” and that’s how kids get intrinsically motivated

I have heard of teams giving divisionals caps to their swimmers… or have a special social event. Mine seems to be doing nothing. Which is the norm?
