Correct that it will be tough to get a job in MCPS if you wanted it in the future. A friend called to resign and they hung up on her.![]()
But, that said, I've had to switch districts/states in mid to late summer twice due to moving for my husband's job, and there was no impact. Just don't burn all your bridges because you'll need a reference.
