It was stupid and mind boggling that multiple tournaments existed. Even it will surely exclude ECNL and MLS Next on the boys side, the competition got a lot more meaningful for us “second teamers.”
Curious if Arlington will now send White (3rd team) to the State Cup as well or if they now go to the Presidents Cup

VYSA is pleased to announce that Virginia is set to be the first state association to combine previously competing State Cups into a singular event co-hosted Virginia Youth Soccer and US Club Soccer!
VYSA is grateful to the leadership of US Club Soccer for their collaboration on this project that will provide the soccer clubs, teams and families in Virginia with a best-in-class event. This reimagined State Cup is open to competitive teams registered to VYSA/US Youth Soccer and US Club Soccer. There is a pathway for the top finishing teams from each sanctioning organization to participate further in the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series and US Club Soccer National Cup.
Maryland doesn't have two state cups!
https://usclubsoccer.org/state-cups/ apparently because for US club soccer your not one of the 31 states that do. I'm more confused as ever as to why there are all these different organizations.
