This is what I take too and it’s been working well, although PP is correct that it can take quite a while to start seeing results.

Did you notice any increased shedding when you first started? I’ve read that the volume of initial shedding can be a predictor of eventual results. In other words, if there’s been no shedding by the 6-8 week mark, you may not be a good responder (or may need a higher dose).

I take 1.25 mg. It’s been almost a year and I’m finally seeing progress. The maximum dose for women is 2.5 so you can ask about that.

I’m taking 1.25 mg. It did take about six months for me to see results.

For any women taking the medication for thinning hair, what is the dose you take? I have been splitting the pills and they are doing nothing for me, even after 6 months. I am wondering if the current dose is too small or if perhaps an alternative might work better, assuming one exists.
