This is my prediction as well. Record is only so important. If OKM would more often than not beat the best D2 teams, they’ve earned their spot in D1 and should stay (although maybe someone else should get stuck playing that role for a season…).

Here’s a wild guess of what you will see in D4-6. Some of the lower 1/3rd teams in each division will slide down a peg or two and some of the upper 1/3rd teams in each division will move up a peg or two. Plus, because most D6 stunk, the bottom half of that division will fall out to make room for the top teams from D7/8 and perhaps D9 to move into the D4-6 range.

Surprisingly, this is not accurate. They both won the division.

This doesn’t work because everyone in D1 beat OKM. If OKM stays in D1, nothing changes in D1. OKM would love to move back to D2, but KG got beat by most of the current D2 teams + OKM in 2023, so it would not make much sense for KG to go up to D1 while OKM moves to D2.

Edit: Re-reading your post, I see you meant to include an “or” between 1 and 2. Still not sure KG could jump the teams that beat them in 2023 when not much has changed on those teams.
