I would probably have fun searching The Real Real for a deal on a designer fine jewelry ring. I think easier to feel confident I am buying exactly what I’m think I’m buying with “designer” brands from The RealReal.

I like wider rings, and would choose maybe something fun by Marco Bicego, but that’s just me.

OP must be leaving an extremely damaging and violent marriage. Most likely her life must have been in danger several times..This is the only conclusion I can draw from this post. I mean I never heard of such a thing but for someone to go to that extent they must have left a deeply traumatic and catastrophic relationship.

On general when a marriage is over it's over. Now thinking about a ring to celebrate the end damn!

I’m in the middle of a divorce and I find that my hand feels weird without a ring after 20 years, so I bought something inexpensive to stop the mental spiral that comes with “where are my rings…oh, right…”

OP, I’d love something DCUM would deem tacky, like the stuff from the Ippolita rock candy line. It makes me happy and I officially DGAF anymore. That is one of my good life choices – not caring what other people think. When the person you loved most decides they don’t even like you anymore, it makes it easy not to care what strangers think.

I just posted; I kept my ring. I had no intention of selling it. It’s just a ring and has no emotional value however it looks like an engagement ring so I probably will eventually buy myself a ring that has diamonds, but is not a solitaire. Been divorced 4 years. I was thinking I would buy myself a ring on my 50th birthday in a few years, but it’s also my divorce ring.

I’m divorced and never heard of a divorce ring. I re-set my diamond into a necklace I wear sometimes but I only did it out of practicality. It’s a useable item that would have sat in a drawer. If there was a decent market for it I would have just sold it.
