We moved from a minivan to the Pilot and I wish we could go back. It's not a space thing, though DH swears the minivan carried more. But we both agree the Pilot handles like a truck and is just not as comfortable of a ride as the minivan was. I thought the slight upgrade in cool-factor was worth it, but it's really not when driving it feels so discombobulating on DC speed bumps even when being careful.

NP. I found it hard to get out of the mindset of needing that space, even though 2 of my kids now drive. 😂

DP here. I like having the space and the versatility and it doesn’t cost any extra. We are about to buy our third minivan with two teenagers, one of whom drives.

Costs extra in fuel if it's a large 3rd row SUV. Minivans are more fuel efficient, tho.

Honda pilot or pathfinder. The 3rd row in the pathfinder can fit adults easily.

Agree that Pilot or Traverse or your best options. If you want the roomiest third row and not a minivan.

I’m a divorced mom with a Honda Pilot. I bought a 2020 used one, it’s higher than base model but I don’t remember which level.

Also open to certified used if it gets me a nicer car. I drive low miles

The divorce has a final soon. My minivan is failing so I need a new car. I need something new and happy and peppy (v6 engine please). I want a change but am practical. An SUV would fit the 5 of us regularly and a solution for when we have 6 people(my mom or a kid friend). I suppose a 3rd row suv would be ok in a pinch(but that 3rd row is so small) and I don’t want a huge Yukon or Suburban. Also my oldest child will be driving soon and can keep a beater car we have. Also want something respectable in case I ever go on a date again.
Suggestions? My brain is too tired for more decisions
