My Pilot has 250K miles on it and has terrible gas mileage. It's time.

You'd be a good candidate for a EV, one sized to your needs. It sounds like you'd rarely need to charge outside your home, so range anxiety shouldn't be a concern for 99% of your driving. You'd dispense with visits to gas stations, and would eliminate almost all ICE car maintenance issues - oil changes, radiator fluid changes, spark plug replacements, engine air filter changes, etc.

Another basic Japanese car, when the ones we have finally die of old age.
And maybe not electric or hybrid. I detest all the added electronics, added weight, and added risk (battery fire, etc).

Why do you need a new car exactly?
