It would be great that I can grab my 8 year old son along.if not, that is fine.

I am not restricted to zumba class, but I remember it works to lose weight.

Please DON'T bring you children into the workout class. Put them in childcare, then workout.

Agree on the Peloton app- they even have family-friendly classes you can do with your kid.

Not sure what your budget is but Barre3 offers childcare at many of their locations. It's an extra cost on top of your class fee (I think it's $8-10 on top of class fee) and you need to schedule it in advance because they won't book a sitter for the class if they don't have any sign ups the night before. You can lower the per class cost at Barre3 by getting class packages.

Alternatively I would recommend doing an online program you can do at home. I used to do Barre3's online program and it's much cheaper than anything in person but has a lot of class offerings and is incredibly convenient. Now I just do classes on YouTube but doing the online Barre3 membership was incentivizing when I was trying to get into working out more -- paying for something gives you a reason to use it. I've also heard good things about the Peloton app for this purpose.

Yeah, Lifetime. They have nice childcare centers. It's an expensive gym, but if it facilitates a healthy lifestyle for you, then it's worth it. It was for me.

Lifetime is ideal for this and the Zumba program is good.

You need to look at what you are eating and move more. You can take your kids to the park and run them around (or in your basement when it is too hot to breathe). Can your 8 year old ride a bike? Can your 5 year old? Run with them while they bike. You can download Zumba and project it on your tv and do the exercises with your children. How tall are you? What do you usually eat ? Does high cholesterol run in your family? I had to start taking meds in my 30’s even though I exercised and ate right. Sometimes that is what you have to do.
