My cat was 22 when she died of kidney failure two years ago, and was just a bag of bones toward the end. It was awful. I adopted a young cat shortly afterward, and she's always made me nervous because she's just...skinny. She's been to the vet and had bloodwork done, and it seems she's just a slight cat who will probably always be like this. I just hate feeling her bones. I have one other cat who could definitely lose some weight, so picking up this new cat is always a reminder of how we lost her predecessor.
