You realize that the bottom of the car isn't sealed. Rodents can climb up into the engine and build nests and chew wires.

They have been digging up under our patio and destroying it. I haven’t figured out a good way to get rid of them yet.

I’ve never heard of chipmunks chewing out cars. We have several, and they did little holes. That’s it.

No lead bullets, they make a great stew.

I hate to break it to you but they do. We saw it happen on our Ring.

Our dog is a terrier and has killed some chipmunks in our yard. We now keep a closer eye on her in the yard.

Why are you leaving your car open?

My neighbor traps them in some kind of cage, then, releases them in a park. My DH has used a mouse trap, but that was a few years ago when the chippy population was extreme.

Just leave them alone.

We have a family of them destroying our property. We had an exterminator over to access the situation, and he was going to set poison traps, but I don’t want them to die a slow, painful death so we opted out. He suggested claw traps because they kill them instantaneously. Well, not so. We caught and have one writhing in the trap, not dead at all. My husband had to go put it out of its misery.

There has to be a better way. Is there? Please help! We need them gone before they destroy our cars!
