I just wanted to share that the struggle is real but not impossible. I have a terrible sweet tooth, love chocolate, and snack in the evening. So although my portions are small still because of surgery it doesn’t stop you from eating crap or too often.
When I saw 192 I was so annoyed with myself. I decided to get back on it and try to lose it again. I do work but not every day. So on my off days I have been getting up at 615 and taking the dog for a 2.5 mile hike, coming home then swimming for 45 mins straight after. I’m home by 9 and feel like I’ve had a good start to the day. I probably do this 3-4x a week.
Stoped snacking totally after dinner, and cut out pasta from my diet.
I still eat chocolate but limit myself and don’t buy it as frequently.
So if i can do it, you can too. I realize though that you really have to change your mindset when you get started and make changes to your life that will make a difference. WL surgery is a tool in the journey but doesn’t mean it’s easy. You still have to put in the work.
