what if the consistent coach sucks ? What if your DD had the opportunity to be coached by rotating coaches who r stellar, motivating, teach something that clicks and could be the the best player ever b/c of this one time interaction? In middle school, kids rotate classes they don’t have one teacher, so why do non athletic parents think a consistent lax coach is the holy grail?

If you're relatively close to the beltway, up nearer to Balto should have deeper options. Including 2nd teams even.
Go to backofthecage.com Maryland to get a feel.

BLC if they have 2030's seem to have less drama on DCUM.

How much $ are you willing to spend? How many days a week and months of the year do you want to practice and play? Are you willing to devote a bunch of weekends to tournaments in other states? Is this your daughter’s #1 sport or is she doing this for fun to supplement other sports?

We did club this past year and it was a cluster. Thought it was just our team but reading this thread makes me think maybe not, so open to both.

For a girl that is still developing her skills but loves to play + parents that want a consistent coach and organized org in NWDC where would you play?
