Bloggers do it because the videos get views, more than other types.

I have been fascinated with airline meals since childhood. I don’t care which class it’s from!

Serious? Instagram, TikTok and travel blogs are full of people posting photos and reviews of in-flight food. It’s a way to brag you’re in first or business and they pretend the food is amazing. It’s so weird.

Okay real issue identified.

+1 you can find a bunch of worthless posts about anything and then feel like it represents some kind of major trend.

This is accurate. It's a signal for "I'm flying in first class." Lots of it going on out there.

You sound a bit obsessed and maybe even paranoid with regard to airplane food. Might want to figure that out.

I don't think it's bragging so much as these people have to document every second of their life. Why stop on a plane? Insecurity and obsession with social media.

Yes this is the weirdest straw man argument I have ever seen.

No one brags but also people who are this germaphobicand hung up on stuff have bigger issues and probably don't fly much.

Am I the only one who never understood this? I don't care what class you're in, free or not, the food has always been nasty! Not only does the food look gross (hospital food, at best), why would you ever think the food is safely handled by bozos at the airport and lowest bidder vendors? And apparently even worse since Covid with safety protocols ignored, so in-flight food poisoning is super common. A flight last night from Michigan to Europe emergency landed at JFK after about 30 crew and passengers out of 277 began vomiting uncontrollably from food poisoning, creating a biohazard on the plane.
