Now that my kids are older, I have more time so am finally training for another marathon. Am relieved it’s been going well, and the best part is running with my boys.

Probably has more to do with breastfeeding and not having time or energy to work out. I have a 4 year old who is very rough physically and I don’t feel like I get enough space to relax on the sofa. He loves to jump on me.

When the kids were 4 and 6 (twins) I started a morning bootcamp class (5:30-6:30am). As far as reclaiming my life, not until all 3 kids left for college, and yes, still attending bootcamp

I don't really understand this either. I am going to need some new hobbies I guess because my current hobbies are cooking and cleaning up the kitchen and chauffeuring my kids to sports. But my body is fine (I only had two, I was fairly young and it was a long time ago now, youngest is 13.)

Another thread talks about being able to reclaim your body after your kids get to a certain age.

Anyone care to share ideas and experiences?

My first thoughts are exercise program to get in shape, dance classes for fun and maybe start a business.
