I mentioned race to avoid snark about cross-ethnic cultural insensitivity.
I mentioned renter because they are fairly new to neighborhood, not apparently interested in getting to know neighbors or mention hey we are doing fireworks.

No I do NOT see illegal aerial fireworks all over in my neighborhood. The legal kind, sure. Legal is limited to fountains, not anything that leaves the ground or rises in the air. Sparks less thann12 feet radius.

Just call 911. Tell them they are setting off aerial fireworks and pieces of the fireworks are landing in your backyard and the roofs of nearby homes. You’d like for Arlington PD to come by and discuss with the tenants.

Call the non-emergency line when they start. That happened to our Arlington neighbors and they received a fine.

No. The owners are scum who do not maintain housemaid get $3000 a month from desperate renters with multiple dogs. Have been doing this for 40 years or more,

I am afraid they will know its me if I call police. I was not certain they were illegal fireworks until I asked fire dept after last year and they sent code.

There is nothing you can do about people shooting off fireworks on the fourth of july. Let it go.

Help!
The last two years renters across the street have fired off (illegal in Arlington ) home fireworks displays including some that shoot up 20 feet or more. Bits land in our yard and roof. I am terrified they will set the house on fire.
They sit out in their yard watching.
I looked it up and the county code is clear these are not allowed.
What to do?
We are not buddies with them. We and they are white fwiw.
I thought of
1) passive aggressive taping fireworks ordnance to phone poles on the block.
2) asking them beforehand not to shoot rockets toward our house
3) repeating 2 night of if the are
Other ideas!?
The "renters" matters because they are defensive about social status over it. They are also scary. Moving in we saw lots of gun and ammo boxes.
