Advisors etc are supposed to serve the President and make it easier for him to make the best decisions, not make the decisions for him.

His Cabinet departments are led by officials who were confirmed for that role by the Senate. Unlike the former guy, who kept acting secretaries around as long as he could (and sometimes unlawfully) because they were more beholden to him.

Biden is a career politician and has been the Vice President previously. I'm sure he knows a couple politicians who have clear judgement through the years. He also likely got a few nudges from the DNC, the party whose platform he is supposed to represent.

It’s not just one person. Its whoever is willing to pay the most to get their way.

In the White House, who is actually making decisions on policy. Is it Jill? Is it Kamala? Is it Jeff Zients? Someone else?

Not a Biden supporter but I will admit that my family has done fine under him the past few years. I just feel that as a taxpaying American citizen I deserve to know who is actually making decisions in the White House.

Who is the man and/or woman behind the curtain?
