What math were they in this past year? If they did well they will continue to the next math in the sequence. If not it could be slowed down if they were on an accelerated path.

Look to see if there course request shows on ParentVue.

Only for electives.

We received a letter with placement information for both math and social studies over the summer. You could just ask the counselor and grade-level administrator at your school to let you know placement if you haven't received it yet.

In the past, I received a letter regarding DC’s math placement for the next year. Does that stop after 6th grade? I have a rising 7th grader and haven’t received anything regarding their math placement next year. No response from the teacher or the counselor either.
