Yes, OP here, and I debated whether to write china or porcelain, ha! I’m not picky about the actual composition of the cup, as long as it is not paper!

I’ve noticed that a lot of cafes and coffee shops give you your coffee and tea in paper cups, even if you indicate that you are ordering to stay. In Europe, the default is to give you your drink in an actual china cup with a saucer and spoon. I think it tastes better this way and wish that more places in the US would take up this practice. It just seems very civilized. Am I the only one who dislikes paper cup culture?
