As a staff member I would really like to see better training of security personnel in simply how they manage school entry, monitor the building, and interact with students. There is a lot of inconsistency among security personnel right now.

She's the acting chief safety officer; her predecessor was former DC police assistant chief Pamela Wheeler-Taylor, who left after a few months.
