There was a story on the news about the texts yesterday. People were upset and told the local news about it.

NP. I got that text too and I'm considering not voting ever again. So a lot of B for me but not A.

Why would you never vote again because of this text? Genuinely curious, not trying to argue about it with you.

Where can I look up to see whether people/neighbors voted or not? It's public record, right?

You just need to pin it on the other side. The best thing to do is to send the message to weak Dems and mildly-Dem leaning Independents. Then talk abortion to a Catholic man or maybe the need for DEI to white people. You want to get these people mad to say “I’ll show you” and vote GOP.

I’ve gotten letters like that. It’s shady and infuriating. The letter included neighbors’ voting histories.

Nope, but I voted like a month ago.

AI is still weak in chat and other areas but can easily distinguish phone use by party affiliation.

No and it's a scam. Ignore and block

I’m a registered Democrat and I got the following text today:

Larla, records show you voted in 2023. 28 people on Elm Street voted last year. We'll be sharing a report after the election of who didn't vote. Find where to vote Tuesday: https://www.elections.virginia.gov/casting-a-ballot/ STOP = End

My son got the same message. My dh, a registered Republican, did not.

This honestly pisses me off, but I’m not sure who was behind it. Anyone get anything similar?
