When I worked at GW when I was in my 20s, one of my jobs was sometimes loading in the audience for “Crossfire.” I got to see and interview all of the hosts, Begala, Novak, Carlson and Carville. They all genuinely seemed to get along and to have the shared goal of having a great show and exploring tough issues.

It’s sad to see what has become of Tucker Carlson. I don’t think he had to turn out this way. I think he has a lot of talent and potential and maybe even some idealism somewhere in his heart, but along the way greed and influence and loaded opportunities got the best of him.

This is OP. I don’t like his politics but his interview with Putin was interesting.i also like his comments on family and fatherhood. I like family men.

What in particular has caught your attention? Is it his embrace of white nationalism? His support of authoritarian leaders of other countries? Maybe it’s his regular reliance on arguably false or misleading claims, including baseless conspiracy theories.
