It’s probably fine but you can buy a little machine for about that much if you’re willing to DIY. The one on the truck is stronger, but I’m not at all convinced it’s worth the difference. Plus it’s nice to have the machine handy for spills. The wirecutter reviews them periodically.

They’re all fine for any fabric with a W code, which yours almost certainly has. It’s just a truck mounted vacuum that sprays and then sucks out soapy water.

You can also do it yourself with a little green machine or a rental rug doctor with an attachment or a spray bottle and a shop vac.

Either way you need to start doing it more often! I have kids and a dog, which makes a big difference, but I wash the couch cushion covers and go over the rest with the extractor several times a year.

We have a sectional from room and board. It’s five years old and has held up great but definitely has a little grime on the armrests where people sit the most. Any suggestions for a company that you’ve used to clean your couch would be most appreciated. We are in bethesda. Thanks!
