Isn't the entire point of wearing a camp T-shirt to confirm that the kid is a camper at the camp they are actually attending? If you can't wear the right camp T-shirt, you can wear any T-shirt. Don't bother with a different camp T-shirt.

If I had a younger kid, especially in a non-athletic context (e.g. art camp, general day camp, etc . . . ) I wouldn't think twice about this. On the other hand, I wouldn't send a 13 year old boy, and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't choose to wear a shirt from SJC lacrosse camp to Landon lacrosse camp.

This is the only time I'd worry, but I know some camps throw a big shirt over everyone's clothes on those days anyways.

Not the same. A better analogy is I wouldn't wear a shirt with a previous employer's logo to my current workplace. I think it's okay to wear a different camp's t-shirt but understand that some may not feel comfortable doing that.

THat's not a good analogy. Stakes are high at a job - that's how you earn money to avoid being homeless. This is a kid at (probably) a one-week camp.
