I’ve gotten into a rooibos kick. Blueberry rooibos is so amazing and smooth. Or vanilla rooibos. Caffeine free.

I love mixing my own teas, especially ginger with lemon and honey.

I also like Numi, Tazo, Harney and Sons, and Fortnum and Mason (British brand carried by Williams Sonoma).

Yup. You can make mint tea, ginger tea, or mint ginger.

In Europe they would just put the leaves or some slices of ginger into the pot, but I find it helpful to bruise the leaves a bit and to chop up the ginger more than they did.

I remember the first time I ordered a peppermint tea in Prague, at a regular cafe, not even a fancy one, and they handed me a tray with a cup on it and a teapot -- with mint leaves in it. Then I ordered a ginger tea and got -- ginger.

I'm still using actual ginger and actual mint leaves for tea. After that, I wasn't going to go back to the little dry packets.

What are some of the best herbal teas out there - better than bigelow or celestial seasonings?

Something I can sip on at night instead of wine.
