So I paused when I read your post--I am Mexi-Rican or Chica-Rican as one might say and I have never seen a Puerto Rico taco. Are you sure you aren't eating another cuisine?
I suggest adobo seasoning in the Latino section of the grocery store. You can also buy sazon. There are a few varations of both. Try them and see what you like. There is also sofrito (condiment in a jar), of which there are two main types--red with tomato and peppers and onion and the green with culantro. Culantro is sort of like cilantro but not. Both are great for chicken.
