I’m trying to eat as healthfully as possible. Overall my diet hasn’t changed a lot, I just eat a lot less of what I ate before. I’m also a lot less likely to binge, so I don't worry about eating just one cookie once in awhile. (Previously one cookie always led to four cookies.) But overall I’m trying to eat and exercise like a very healthy slim person. I don’t make myself eat if I am not hungry.

I shoot for about 1200 calories/day.

Breakfast: oatmeal with flax seed, or 1/2 an egg sandwich, or a high-protein yogurt and fruit parfait

Snack: apple, orange

Lunch: leftovers

Snack: sunflower seeds

Dinner: usually a protein and veggie. On the menu this week is pasta with chicken, spinach and cherry tomatoes; chicken piccata; salmon patties; Tuscan pork roast (lean cut) with green beans and new potatoes

Depending on how hungry I am, I might have a small ice cream (80 calories) or Italian ice (120 calories) as a treat.

I've just started protein shakes. I think it is going to help a lot.

Dinner when I’m not really hungry is apple with almond butter. I think it’s pretty healthy all things considered.

I have been on Wegovy at 0.25 for over a month now -- just took my 5th dose (staying at 0.25 for now). I know we all have different challenges with this medication, but I have very low appetite. Fortunately for me I happened to have a free session with a dietician as part of my concierge physician's practice and I saw her yesterday and she was fantastic. The short of it is that she emphasized getting enough protein and eating small meals -- one within two hours of gettin up and then again no more than 4-5 hours after than, and again no more than 4-5 hours after that -- given that I'm not inclined to eat.

Some of the mini-meals we discussed for breakfast are cottage cheese with cherry tomatoes, plain greek yogurt with a few berries, shredded wheat cereal with almond milk. Lunch/dinner ideas included tuna salad with multigrain crackers and a side of peas; buddha bowls with brown rice, roasted veggies and tofu or chicken; oven-roasted fish with olive oil and lemon and roasted green beans or asparagus. Suggested snacks were nuts and dry-roasted edamame (protein!). Brainstorming these really helped me, I do not really have the time or energy to cook much and you can probably see that here. So the emphases were quick and easy, enough protein to add up to 60g in a day, and food that would help regulate my blood sugar instead of mess it up (I'm not quite pre-diabetic but flirting dangerously close to it which is what made me agree with my doctor's suggestion of Wegovy in the first place).

I'll add I've had a side effect of some awful stomach pain and diarrhea but that tended to come after sugar (ugh, Dairy Queen), and a side effect of fatigue which she thought might be exacerbated by my blood sugar going all over the place. So these foods at least shouldn't contribute further to any of that. We'll see.

What are y'all doing? I assume most people on here are more capable of cooking and planning than I am, lol, but would love to hear more ideas.
