Nothing wrong with trade school or community college

So what?

You are going to fault them for becoming productive tax paying citizens?

Not everyone goes to college. Yet amazingly they still manage to live a happy life.

Most people have to work even if they’re going to college.

I think Culpeper reflects how different the rest of Virginia is from Northern VA.

We live in a bubble of affluence and striverism. Talk to people in Lynchburg or Roanoke or Newport News and they aren’t pushing college the way folks here are.

Probably. Lots of middle class in Culpepper. We need plumbers, electricians, pest people, etc. They can make good money and don't need college, and they certainly wouldn't fit into the social scene in many UMC areas around here.

so just 25% of the class is going to 4 year college, and just 40% are going to a trade school or a 2 year college. just 4% are going to the armed forces, and about 1/3 are going to the work force or just enjoying life. Is this common?

I was shocked when I heard those numbers...
