Because its going to be raining and on the cool side. Don't know about you - but nothing worse than cold wet feet - slipping around in sandals on cobblestones. Comfortable lifestyle sneakers are a good go to - can pound the pavement, keep your feet warm/dry. My other shoe would be a flat to wear out to dinner or for more dressy events. I would not wear the boots.

NP. They do not need to be white. Wear what ever goes with your outfit. I wore grey sneakers the last time. Paris is cosmopolitan like NYC. No one will care, you will still look like a tourist anyways.

I wore white Adidas Sambas on a recent trip to Paris. Seemed like the trending choice for a lot of Parisian women.

It will be 70 absolute max just one day, and raining. I just checked.

Step away from Florida - boots are not appropriate in June. Sandals, but sneakers, flats are all good choices. Bring a light jacket or a wrap or thin sweater you can toss in your purse when it warms up. It could also be 80 while you’re there. Remember that it always feels warmer there bc you don’t get the typical cool down every time you walk inside bc a lot of places don’t use ac or don’t keep it that cold

Leather booties are way too wintry for June weather. It’s going to be 70 (or 68/69) the rest of the week moving into almost 80 by next week. Also with humidity it will feel warmer (eg tomorrow at 2 the temp is supposed to be 63 but the feels like will be 72).

20 years ago Paris was cool/cold in June. That is no longer the norm with global warming.

sandals are a no due to toes out. I can do brown raffia ballerina flats, high top converse white sneakers, beige and black New Balance. Also have some espadrilles wedges.

I would wear sandals or sneakers. It's not actually that cold. You just need a light sweater with a dress.

Might seem like a silly question but I have lived in Florida for years and only gone to France in hot/very cold weather so I don't remember what's appropriate for this sort of weirdly cold June weather (65ish day temp, colder nights). Are flat leather booties appropriate or too wintery?
